<p>I thought of you yesterday, sunrise. </p>
<p>Yesterday, when we were moving my D into her freshman dorm at Gettysburg we commented how much we like the orange and blue school colors. That reminded me of the other orange and blue college my D applied to. She didn’t end up there, of course. But, a year ago I found myself secretly hoping that she would. Had she enrolled there I might get a chance to bump into you at parents weekend, or some other campus event. I’m sure I would recognize you there, or anywhere. You’d be the one radiant in wisdom, patience, and kindness.</p>
