how come every school year is the same… just when school starts, i feel as though i could study forever but as the year progresses, my performance level continually goes down. can any of you think of any other explanation besides sleep deprivation? how can i make homework more interesting? i definitely know how to make learning more fun but homework? not so much. for personal enrichment, i go to either a lecture/author book signing/art gallery/opera/symphony concert every week and i think that helps stimulate my brain. it even influences how i present myself to others because i always have cool stories to tell and seem worldly and cultured.

I always have a terrible slump in 3rd quarter. I think it’s a combination of boredom with dirty snow and ice and school. Unfortunately, I don’t have a solution for you.

I think everyone feels that way. I just think of upcoming breaks, how I can recharge my batteries then.

I’m worst in June; before my finals last year I decided to play pokemon all day instead of study, but I was a freshman so…

Same here…I can never keep up my pace, which is why I look forward to the quarter system at Chicago (if I get in). With 3-4 classes every three months, I won’t have time to get burned out.
