My essay is similar to another?

<p>Hey,
Basically one of the essays I entered for this writing competition, I have just realized is similar to another. I read this essay a few months ago and kind of used it as inspiration for my piece but now I have just read the two after one another and my essay has like 2 short sentences that are nearly the same as in the original? This was of course unintentional- us this a major problem? </p>

<p>If they’re word for word identical then you have a huge issue.</p>

<p>You need to either give credit or rephrase the sentence.</p>
