My fellow brothers and sisters

It seems like most of us have finished all the hard work. Let’s hope for the best :)

im finally done…
and yes we shall all hope for the very very best!

Good luck to all the RD applicants (and the EA deferrees)!

I have yet to submit all my applications. I’m such a procrastinator. :(

AAAAAH STILL WORKING!

Haha.

Thank God I’m not alone.

Don’t forget that the credit card takes up to two days to clear- not sure if it’s “turned in” until then.

Best of luck (or fate) to all of you!

For what it’s worth:

I didn’t think my essays were outstanding – I’ve written more insightful pieces for English class. They didn’t have the spark and ingenuity that everybody spoke about when referencing their Chicago essays. I judge myself on tough standards, but I was honestly worried that because my essays weren’t “stellar”, I wasn’t going to get in. I did. They look at so much more than just the 1500 words that you write.

Moral: Good luck with your apps, don’t fret over typos or dumb mistakes (I had a few of these too). Hopefully I’ll see you there next year!

And don’t freak out on the UnCommonApp blog like us Early kids did.

Are you Indian?
The wording of the title reminded me of Swami Vivekananda’s speech at the 1893 parliament of world religions in Chicago.

Ditto, abhishiv

No… I’m a Korean.

Just curious, will adcoms be knowing who swami Vivekananda was?
