<p>I know it means nothing, but what is the general opinion of what I should expect come friday. Will it be a good day, or a not so good day.</p>

Rank: 3/576
AP’s: 5’s in Euro, Chem, Calc BC, Eng. Lang, US Hist., and Bio. I got a 3 on French Lang.
Senior Courses: AP Psych, AP Gov, AP Eng Lit., AP Physics C, AP Studio Art, Multivariable Calc./Diff. Eq., and Anatomy</p>

Debate Team (Captain 11, 12), lots of awards, 2nd in district last year
Founded a small Clothing Company (only worth around $800 right now)
Academic Bowl (Captain 12), district and regional titles in numerous years
National Honor Society (President), set up a middle school tutoring program
Internship at Wealth management firm last summer
Internship at Graphic Design Studio two summers ago
Have played JV Football, and Varsity Tennis</p>

Part of the school theater company for 4 years
Only around 80 hours community service</p>

Essays: I think they are pretty creative, common app about my clothing company, Penn one about wanting to pursue fincance, art, and entrepreneurship.
Recs: No idea, should be at least generic and good
Guidance Rec: Very generic, she started last year</p>

<p>Unless the admissions officer was drunk while reviewing your application, I believe it is safe to assume that you will have a good day.</p>

<p>it should be an AMAZING day for you! how many other kids from your school applied to penn this year, ED?</p>

<p>For ED, one other kid applied, but he went for SEAS, for RD I think one or two might apply, I know one of my friends will. My interviewer told me he usually does 8 or so interviews from my area per year, and about 2-3 get in.</p>

<p>this thread is completely pointless. Asking people will make absolutely no difference. Just wait the five days like everyone else. Yeh you may be smart but none of us are admission people.</p>

<p>As to collegebound’s question, I don’t know if it is a requisite, but they do state on their site that they highly recommend that an applicant take the SAT II Match IIC test, so make of that what you will.</p>

<p>since you a have a legit shot at HYP during the rd cycle, penn will jump to snap you up. (as long there aren’t any behavioural red flags in your file etc. etc.)</p>

<p>haha, I am pretty sure I don’t have any behavioral red flags, hopefully the admissions officer who read my app didn’t have a bad lunch and then think I was some kind of snob or something. In a perfect world, they would tell you why they didn’t accept you, but oh well.</p>

<p>haha, yeah the 2290 was a retake, I am not that much of an academic monster, on the first try I got a 2270, mainly I retook it to get my math score up from a 700.</p>
