If I could go to any college of my choosing, I would pick Hope College in Holland, MI. I would choose to go there everyday of the week, and I actually already have. I am signed to play division three college softball at Hope College and I could not be more excited! The only problem is that money will be extremely tight. As a division three athlete, I am not allowed to receive any scholarship for my sport even though it is an extremely pricey private college , but scholarships like this one will be lifesavers in alleviating some of the financial pressure. I plan to study exercise science or chemistry with a pre-dietetics track and my dream is to work for a professional athletic team out of college. Although it might be a financial struggle, I know that Hope College is where I am meant to be because it has a faith-centered academic life with amazing athletic programs that I cannot wait to be a part of!
I would choose the College of Charleston. I would choose this college because it was the first school where I could really see myself going, and it just felt so safe and peaceful there. The expenses are huge, however, so I will have to raise a lot of funding if I want to attend.
If I could choose any college I would choose School of the Art institute of Chicago because it is in the rankings for one of the top art schools in the US and it is close to home. I didnāt pursue it because I really wanted to have the HBCU experience but i love any and would have loved to go to a school that is majority at centered because my whole being is the arts.
I would choose to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill because it is the first public university in the nation. Their academic rigor and alumni network will help students succeed post graduation.
My first pick would always be New York University. New York is my dream city, and this university is the best for all my interests, as I want to major in computer science and design. Additionally, I am particularly fond of the campus. Iāve done many virtual tours and love the open concept they have.
The college of choice if I didnāt have to consider money would either be UCLA or UNYC. I really love both of the cities and I love the diversity.
My dream school would be Syracuse University
because it combines academics with creativity and hands on experience. Iāve been interested in the Visual Communications program at the Newhouse School, since it connects to my interest in photography and storytelling while preparing students for their careers.
I would choose Howard University for its location, legacy, and opportunities. Being based in Washington, D.C., means I would be surrounded by internship and networking opportunities while attending school. The business program sparks my interest because it focuses on leadership and entrepreneurship and is supported by a strong alumni network. In addition to producing confident, successful Black leaders. Howard feels like a place that would push me to grow while also giving me a strong sense of community and purpose.
Hi Nadia Syracuse is a great school, one of my friends went there and she loved it. I hope you get the chance to fulfill your dreams and attend! Happy Holidays, take care.
If I could attend any university, I would choose Emerson College, which Iām currently attending. Iāve always been passionate about pursuing a career in film ā storytelling is a beautiful outlet to me, whether thatās acting, directing, or screenwriting. Being immersed in the Emerson culture has been a great experience, as Iām surrounded by like-minded, creative individuals who come from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. The fact that we are all so different is what truly makes our creative work inspiring when brought to life. It is an absolute dream come true to attend Emerson, and I would be devastated for finances to be the reason I can no longer attend. I plan to get my bachelorās in film, and utilize the tools Emerson has taught me for my future. Iām a tenacious worker who is willing to put the work in, already have directed a play, and acted in a number of films at Emerson. I would truly recommend Emerson College to anyone looking to pursue film, as Iāve been lucky enough to spend my first year in this wonderful commmunity.
If you had the opportunity to go to any college, which would you pick and why?
If I had the opportunity to go to any college, I would choose to go to Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio because they offer a perfect balance of strong academics, close and caring professors and staff, and lots of opportunities to get involved on campus. As a pre-med student, I highly value the small class sizes that we have and ONU and hands-on learning that allow me to truly understand the material and build relationships with my professors. ONUās emphasis on experiential learning, leadership, and service has helped me grow both academically and personally. The supportive atmosphere makes it a place where I feel challenged, encouraged, and motivated to become the kind of doctor who treats people with compassion and care. ONU is also close to home so I can still be involved with my family and my two younger sisters. I am able to travel home on the weekends, when possible, to make it to my sisterās sports games, which was a major benefit to choosing ONU as my school. I love my supportive and loving campus that has also been rated #1 by multiple newspapers, and it feels like home!
If I could attend any college, I would attend California State University Long Beach. I grew up across the bridge from Long Beach and wanted to go to CSULB throughout my time in high school. I moved halfway across the country and ended up attending and graduating from a two year college instead. I would still like to attend Cal State Long Beach and would love to get my degree from there. It is a place that has always been close to my heart and it is near my hometown. I have heard nothing but great things from the people I know whom have attended. The campus is beautiful and the programs are amazing. Going to CSULB and getting my degree from there would be a dream come true.
If I could attend any college, Boston University would be my choice. I didnāt figure out what I wanted to study until a few months ago and now Iām working toward a career goal in Education Policy. BU has the most perfect majors (Educational Design for Transformative Social Futures and Youth Development & Justice) that make me excited about the next four years. The idea of being in the environment that is Boston and also surrounded by the diversity a lot of top schools donāt have is comforting. But I also know how unrealistic it is, even besides that tiny acceptance rate. My parents would never let me go that far away and I wouldnāt let myself risk so many relationships and money for a school. So if I truly had the opportunity to attend ANY school, even a school that seems unreachable right now, it would be Boston University.
If I could attend any college, it would be Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Campus. What makes it even better is that I have been accepted there, I just have to figure out how to pay for it. My dream has always been to work in the aerospace industry, specifically to get a job working for NASA. I want to help be on the team that figures out the propulsion system that will allow astronauts to go to Mars safely. ERAU is focused and dedicated to preparing students for working not just with theory and in the classroom, but on real world problems and with professors that have the ability to make connections to help you get in the right doors for your future. Additionally, I love that everyone on campus is serious about their future and academics but is friendly and helpful. The small campus allows people to really connect and get to know each other. I know I will succeed here and my dreams are in reach if I can afford them.
If I could pick any college to attend I would choose CU Boulder because it has a very social and welcoming campus with flexible majors that tallow students to explore different interests. I like that students can balance academics with an active social life, and the strong school spirit makes it feel easy to get involved and meet new people. I am especially interested in Greek life because it offers a sense of community, leadership opportunities, and lifelong friends. It is also very similar to many different groups I am a part of in my life right now! I am also drawn to Boulderās location and weather because it gives me the best of both worlds, lots of sunshine and warm days, along with snowy winters. Overall, CU Boulder feels like a place where I could grow academically while also enjoying an exciting and social college experience.
I would choose UNC Chapel Hill because it feels like the place where my goals and my heart could line up. UNCās incredible health science programs and handsāon learning opportunities would give me the foundation I need to pursue occupational therapy, but itās more than academics for me. Thereās a sense of purpose and community at Chapel Hill that inspires me. Itās a place where service, leadership, and compassion actually matter. I can see myself growing there, finding mentors, and becoming the kind of pediatric occupational therapist who truly makes a difference in childrenās lives. UNC feels like the place where Iād become the best version of myself.
If I had the opportunity to attend any college, I would choose Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) because it represents the kind of artistāand personāI am striving to become.
MICA stands out to me for its deep commitment to creative exploration, conceptual thinking, and interdisciplinary practice. I am especially drawn to how MICA encourages students to push beyond technical skill and use art as a way to engage with the world, tell meaningful stories, and address social and cultural issues. As an artist interested in large-scale, public-facing work, I value an environment that supports experimentation, collaboration, and real-world impact.
The studio-focused curriculum at MICA excites me because it prioritizes hands-on learning, critique, and mentorship. I want to be challenged by peers who are equally passionate and by faculty who are practicing artists pushing the boundaries of their fields. Being surrounded by that level of creative energy would push me to take risks, refine my voice, and grow more confident in my work.
Additionally, MICAās location in Baltimore is important to me. The cityās rich history, diverse communities, and vibrant arts scene offer endless inspiration and opportunities for engagement beyond the classroom. I want my art to live outside gallery wallsāto be seen, questioned, and experiencedāand MICAās connection to its community aligns perfectly with that goal.
Ultimately, I would choose MICA because it is not just a place to learn how to make art, but a place to learn how to think like an artist: critically, boldly, and with purpose.
If I could go to any college, I would pick The Ohio State University. OSU has a multitude of programs, activities, and clubs to choose from; thereās something for almost everybody! They also have a large community of students and staff. Personally, Iām very passionate about science, and OSU has many great science programs to choose from, including the BSPS program which I have been accepted into!
I would attend Penn State, because the environment and community support is so comforting and makes it feel like home. They also have one of the best computer science programs in the US, which is the degree and field I want to pursue throughout my life.
If I could pick any college to attend I would choose West Chester University to major in exercise science (pre-occupational therapy) because it is a beautiful campus and affordable and where I can best pursue my education and work towards my degree and dream of being a occupational therapist.
