My Grades for Junior Year

I just made an account. I’m not sure if I put this in the right section because I don’t really know the forums so please don’t get mad at me lol…

So I just ended my junior year.
I was hoping to get at least 4-5 A’s since 1st semester, I got that (I have 7 classes). But 2nd semester I slacked off right after Christmas break for the first 6ish weeks so that really affected me. I had to try my hardest to pick my grades back up and it’s really disappointing me my final grades.

Anatomy & Physiology (Regular Class) - 89
US History (Advanced Placement Class) - 89
English Language (Advanced Placement Class) - 87
Pre-Calculus (PRE-Advanced Placement Class/Kind of Like the Equivalent of Honors Classes) - 80
Health Science (Regular Class) - 100
Spanish IV (Advanced Placement Class) - 89
Physics (Regular Class) - 89

I got so many 89s and literally only 1 A.
I have tears in my eyes looking at my grades.

I took my first ACT and SAT without studying to just see what I would get.
For my ACT, I got a 25. For my SAT, I got a 1690.

Are these okay? I want to be a doctor or a nurse so would I be able to get into colleges just like this? I’m going to take my ACT and SAT again but I just was wondering since… my grades won’t change ever. Thanks!!!

Of course you will be able to be a doctor. You can go to amazing schools with those grades, they just may be ranked in the top 10. You can go to a school with a great pre med program, graduate, go to a grad school (prestigious if you want) and become whoever you want to be. Your grades now do not dictate your future. Your work ethic does.

@AnnieBeats the type of optimism you don’t hear much around here! :)

No problem  And it you don’t get into Stanford, guess what?! That’s okay. You’re life isn’t over and you won’t be a failure. Very few people go to the Ivies and are still very successful. You can go to your state school and learn the same exact things in a different, less competitive atmosphere
