My grades for this semester are in the toilet.

I’ve done fairly well in high school these past few years. This is my senior year, and while I told myself that I wouldn’t, I’ve fallen prey to that dreaded senioritis.

My grades this semester are shot. They’ve been on a steady decline since September, but it’s finally hit rock bottom. I have every intention to bring them back up, but the damage has clearly been done: I’m borderline passing two of my courses and managed to scape by with a couple of Cs, Bs, and an A in everything else.

I’ve started the new semester with a completely new mindset. But of course, with notifications from colleges on their way in only a month or two, I’ve obviously started just a little too late. So, with that in my mind, should I address this issue in some manner? Perhaps a phone call, an interview, or some sort of personal statement via post?

Thanks.
