[Art I ]- Senior Year Courseload

your courseload is quite adequate. i’m not sure if it will make you stand out, seeing that there are many applicants who will also have similar courses, but what i can conclude is that whatever college you apply to will be satisfied with your courseload…some will even be impressed

i don’t know if they’re necessarily be impressed, since it sounds similar to many other applicants. however, your high school counselor should provide information about the program you’re coming from, so the adcom will be able to see that you’re taking challenging courses.

Eh, it’s decent. It seems to be on par, but the combo of the GPA and courseload might hurt you a bit for Stern. If you had quite a few more APs, then it’d be fine. Anyways, who knows. You’ve still got a good amount of time.

One thing about that^^
I’m currently taking the hardest course load my school has to offer, but for my senior year next year, I want to drop Spanish. I’m a junior. Right now I’m taking college-level Spanish V, but I don’t want to take college-level Spanish IV next year. Will that look bad to NYU even if I still have 3 or 4 AP courses along with honors classes?

looks good to me. remember that the application / admission process is more than just classwork. start hittin those SAT books and make sure ur EC’s are good.
