My Interpreter Dream Career

I want to get into Interpretation and Translation. I’m going to a Community College before I transfer to a Uni in Spain to achieve my second language. I only plan on staying in the CC for one academic year, and the major I selected was Associates of Arts.

My question is, since I want to take English/Communications/A Foreign Language (Linguistics later in Spain) etc, is it really required for me to take a Math or Science Course(None of those classes seem to benefit my career)? And if so, can’t I substitute those classes with another class that offers the same amount of credits?

(Sorry if this is in the wrong Section. I couldn’t find any where else to put this.)

You need to ask your advisor what the specific requirements are for an AA at your CC. At Happykid’s, all of the AA programs required two semesters of science, and math through at least College Algebra.
