<p>I have only gotten accepted to UC merced out of all the colleges i applied to and im hella worried right now…i really dont want to go there.</p>

<p>I applied to:</p>

<p>UCI
UCD
UCSD
UCLA
UCB
stanford
Duke
Claremont
NYU
USC</p>

<p>and ive been rejected from UCD and UCSD for bioengineering even tho my stats were above their averages…soo gay. The next couple days are gonna be even more hell for me…SIGH. Any comforting words will help…thanks</p>

<p>Also how do i go bout appealing my UCSD rejection?</p>

<p>Keep appealing the UC decisions until you get in…but I don’t know how to do that. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.</p>

<p>Are you ELC? Did you have good extracurriculars? Did you have good essays?</p>

<p>Appealing UC decisions can be really difficult. I’d recommend only trying if you’re sure there’s something really wrong.</p>

<p>What are your stats? If they fall in the lower percentile, then I don’t know if appealing will necessarily help you.</p>

<p>I got into the college of engineering at Davis with a 3.6ish weighted (might be a 3.7 or 3.8 but I can’t be bothered to remember… UC weighting is odd), 1970 SAT, and SAT II’s in the mid 600s. So I’d appeal or something but I can’t believe you didn’t get into the mid tier UCs.</p>

<p>It’ll be difficult appealing for UCSD. You can try though, but it may not be successful. Their bioengineering is pretty good. </p>

<p>It seems as if you have a good chance at Irvine though. I have no idea why you weren’t accepted at Davis… Definitely find out why for that… </p>

<p>Have you heard from USC or NYU? If you can get into one of those, you don’t have to worry about appealing at all.</p>

<p>Bet you a dime you will get into either LA or Cal. That’s really messed up, you have very good stats. Unless you live in the basement after school playing Wii, with no ECs, I just don’t get it.</p>
