i have a 1790 on my SAT1 780 in bio sat but 720 in math. my extra curriculars are horrible.the only good thing have is that i was in track and field for all 4years buttttt i didn’t win any medals or anything. G.P.A. is 3.52 and weighted is 3.77. Application essay was o.k. but it was not life-changing or memorable. I applied to all the uc’s except santa cruz and riverside and merced. do i even have a chance at the others??!!??

ill be honest… ucla, ucsd, uc berk. are are all absolutely no, no matter the major

ucsb, irvine, and davis vary by the major

you should have applied to merced, easy school to get into

do you have any back up schools like csu’s?

ur life doesnt suck u do have a chance… try emailing them and letting them know ur interested… just believe in yourself and dont over stress it theres more to life then getting into a good school

i applied to cal poly and san jose state and university of washington. i applied everywhere as a biology major. I didn’t get any replys from any of the schools yet

i applied to cal poly as an arch major and haven’t heard back from any of my colleges either :S

your life sucks because your stats are decent.

Berkeley: reach
UCLA: reach
UCSD: reach
UCSB/UCD/UCI: high match (~60%)

You should have applied to UCSC, UCR, or UCM as safeties.

kyledavid80:

how reach is ucsd for him??

^^ yeah i know seriously!?

UCSD is not as big a reach for him as UCLA or Berkeley. I’d say 30-40%, since his SAT is about 150 points below UCSD’s average and his GPA is about .3 below average. (I define reach as anything below 50%, where the odds are against you.)
