I know I’ve posted about this before, but the semester just ended and Idk, I feel very anxious about my mid year grades. They are definitely not my best, as I did have a 3.8UW and about a 4.2W if you consider 8th grade to 11th (8th because I took earth science and algebra I which are high school classes). I have a 34 ACT. How badly will my grades affect my chances?

Gym 94 A
AP Gov & Politics 84 B
AP Economics 88 B+
AP English 92 A-
AP Calc AB 87 B+
Intro to social science research 92 A-
It probably will affect your chances. No one here can say to what degree it will affect your chances because admissions offices are somewhat mysterious. You also didn’t include what schools you are applying to. Either way, you can’t do anything about it now, so don’t worry too much about it.
Mid year grades are given a large amount of weight as they are what resemble your college level classes and constitute 1/7th of the educational data they have about you as a student.
However, regrets or not, you can’t do anything about it. People have been accepted with better grades than you and worse grades.
