My mid-year report will be delayed-does this spell doom?

My Physics teacher got hit by a car the week before finals and the FRQ part of our final won’t be given until next week Friday and the midyear probably won’t be available until like the Wednesday after that. Technically grades have been finalized and I have a C but it will most likely go to a B (or even an A cause of his weird final policy) after the FRQ part and I really don’t want to send in a C when that grade will most likely change. I’m going to email the colleges but since this may delay my app, how screwed am I?

I’d contact the colleges directly and explain candidly what happened, and ask them what to do. Personally, I’d wait to submit it, but your colleges might want it earlier. Just call and tell them what happened (emphasize the car accident), and see what they say.

Ask your counselor to not put a grade for physics, and, if possible, ask him/her to add a note saying that grade isn’t finalized due to the teacher’s accident.

I was going to do that but that would be admitting that I have a C and even if it changes to a B, they’ll know it’s a low B and it may even change to an A (weird final grade policy).
