my october scores are not released till now bcz
message from collgeboard
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the delay in your October SAT scores. Your scores are on hold for a review of the essay section. This kind of review occurs when the readers who score the essays find similarities between essays and published content. I will be sending you a letter to advise you of the results of the review within the next few weeks. If you would like I can email you the letter when it is available.

HELP ME PLEAASEE !WHAT DOES THAT MEAN !!! AND WILL MY OCROBER SCORES BE RELEASED OR NOT :(

It means that they think you memorized an already published article or at least used enough of it to mean that you didn’t do the essay based solely on your own knowledge.

ummm…okay so is there is a probablity that it will be cancelled…
when i asked them when will my scores will be available ?
they said :
As I indicated to you in the last email, the scores will remain on hold at this point due to concerns detected in the essay portion of your test. I will send you a letter when it is available regarding the concerns and providing you with options but the scores will remain on hold at this point.

Thank you.
SO WHAT DO U THINK WILL MY SCORES BE CANCELLED ??

I think your essay portion may be canceled should they find due reason. With that said, I would only contact them once a week max until the score is given to you.

okay…thank u soo much for your response

out of curiosity, can you think of anything you wrote in the essay that could be construed as plagarism? did you memorize certain things and then write about them?

WAOO, It is safe to say at this point that if for whatever reason, you wrote your essay based on a content that you read somewhere in-part or full, then make alternate plans.
If you did your best, all on your own without any form of “plagiarizing” which could be exact or partial content of another author without proper reference, then no worries, just hope for the best outcome.
However, based on the way this is sounding, I would say…make alternate plans to retake the NEXT available SAT or ACT.
Best of luck to you, and remember, every experience is a learning lesson, for whatever happened or will happen, you now know and can only do better from now on.
