I don’t know what I’m going to do. I haven’t filled out the PROFILE for Swarthmore, Macalester, Dartmouth, or Grinnell. I just recently submitted Financial Aid stuff past deadline for several other schools. I keep telling them, but apparently, they’re “busy”. Also, they don’t want to do the PROFILE because someone once told them not to fill out any financial aid forms that you have to pay for… They keep telling me to go to UW-Sheboygan, the two year college 10 minutes away, but I can’t let myself do that. If I turn in the profile to those schools in the next week or two, what can/should I expect? Please help, I’m distressed, as usual.

I think the biggest problem you have is that your parents clearly don’t support the idea of you attending college at any of the schools you named. They are going to be expected to pay the EFC and it doesn’t sound like they are going to. you can contact the schools – but financial aid deadlines are in place in order to allocate funds and if you submit your information late it can seriously impact the amount of money you recieve.
