You are a high school senior with an opportunity to go to some college. Maybe not exactly what you want, but nothing is ruined. Focus on what you can do with what is in front of you. Do that, then make the best of the next step, and so on.
My DH wanted to be an NYC investment banker as a teen. Many situations and choices have resulted in him instead doing very well in a different city in a related career. Continue to be resilient and move forward. Life doesn’t come with a bound script.

The side that will claim I am mentally inept (you’ll see if you go through my former posts… I have anxiety plus an LD… perhaps more than one) and will try to use that to put me in a mental asylum. My dad is a chronic gaslighter. I regret not reporting him to the police when he threw an iron at my foot (required stitches and an unbelievable excuse to the doctor) a couple of years ago. Verbal abuse (and even physical) is an almost guaranteed at my home, or let me say, any Korean home. I just had someone PM me about that (similar experience) so at least I know I’m not alone

This thread keeps getting weirder and weirder. The OP is in enough AP’s to graduate from college in 1 1/2 years yet has to pay so little attention in class that he has posted every 5 minutes for the last 5 hours.
He has $15,000 in possessions but hasn’t received a single birthday or Christmas present in 10 years.
He has a lucrative online job that pays him once a year, but no personal computer (only school issued) or phone. The family phone is mysteriously tapped.
He lives in the suburbs but must walk 2 hours to get to a bank or pharmacy.
He doesn’t have a single friend who could give him a ride or let him use their phone.
Sigh…

go to a bank and set up your own account ASAP. walk if you have to. you are 18, you can walk and set up a bank account whenever you darn well please. make sure they cannot get access to it.
see if they will give you your college money now so you cna keep it safe in the bank.
forbid your GC from doing what your parents say. assert the fact that you are 18.
don’t do anything about Vanderbilt ED2. see what happens.
see how RD’s play out. if they will pay for a school you like, great.
if your only parent-funded option turns out to be UVa, realistically figure out if this would be a workable solution, or if you would be thwarted from graduating in 2 years or pursuing a major you want.
if you really decide you can’t pursue the future you want with their UVa plan, then you need to take action.
get moving on the UAH app / SAT if you feel it’s a realistic self-funded option.
if not, use your $5000 to move out and get a place of your own.
take a gap year. do not attend any college or community college after graduating HS.
get an inexpensive car, go wherever you want, and rent a cheap room or apartment.
get a job and save as much as you can.
research and apply to schools that will give generous automatic merit scholarships for at least full tuition. hopefully as close to full ride as you can get. apply for competitive scholarships as well.
you would already have UAH for full tuition + housing. apply for their competitive scholarships, maybe get enough to have meals + books covered.
Ole Miss might be a good option for full tuition + big additional scholarship opportunities. Nebraska, Alabama, Miss State, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming. Maybe Ohio State. If you like STEM apply for Goodnight Scholarship at NC State. Get the big auto-merit scholarships lined up before chasing big competitive scholarships.
your parents likely won’t fill out your FAFSA info so keep a copy of this year’s FAFSA. you need lots of aid from the schools themselves if you go this route.
@GloriaVaughn I used to have IEP in elementary school (up until like 2nd grade… then I started doing decent in school so I asked my parents to get rid of it, and they did). I only started blossoming academically since 6th grade

Jokes aside, three of my APs are at home online. AP English had an assessment today. After the assessment, we were supposed to do our work, but the teacher forgot to leave it. APCS is easy.

5500 (Federal loans) + 10000 (which my parents and I sort of have… I think it became vapourmoney thanks to them. I said most of it was from my grandmother).

I’m not that social in school. Have no friends or phone
So…is the ED2 application changed to RD?
I still think that leaves more options open at the end of April.
Regardless…to the OP…the day you enroll in whatever college you attend…find their psychological counseling center…and make an appointment. Perhaps someone there can help you work through all of,these issues.

I am planning to do so. Hopefully my parents don’t find out. My dad said wants to take me to a psychiatrist so I can get medicated and become a “obedient boy again like elementary school.” He’s against psychologists and therapy. He only thinks medication is the solution according to his totally non-professional opinion (and seems to forget about all the pain he inflicted on me)

It’s time to leave. Take your money and your SS card. You most likely have to file taxes this year if you made $3000 as a contractor. How do you do this work with no computer at home? Take all your stuff with you to school and never go home. Your GC can help you get the proper paperwork. Go from school to a bank and set up the account (you’ll need a SSN), then either go to a motel or shelter. You want to be an adult, independent, and there is no time like the present to start.
If you don’t want to do that, you’ll have to continue listening to your parent.
And really, do you expect us to believe that in every class at your school, even the athletic one (and remember this is a cRAPPY school) you have access to a computer where you can log onto websites? These are all AP classes (because to get 68 AP credits you must be taking 20 or so AP classes over the years of high school) and the teachers (who are crappy) don’t care if you have a laptop open on your desk?
