My chances?
Purdue and Michigan State are the easier of the four to be admitted to, and I would say you have good chances at them (though that may also depend on whether you are in-state for one of them or not). Georgia Tech and Rice are harder. You are competitive, but on the lower end of the scale in terms of your SAT scores. You should still apply, but try to improve your scores if possible so that they fall within the 25th/75th percentile for the two schools.
your sat 2 scores are amazing, but what I want to know is where in the usa do you live where you have a school cricket team lol
I think you’ll be get into Purdue and Georgia Tech for sure, as long as your GPA is above a 3.9 or so . University of Michigan, depending on your GPA, will be either a high match or a low reach. I’d probably call Rice a reach.
I am sorry,I did not mention that i am international student…
In 10th grade out of 10 my gpa was 9.6
Hey guys, i have one more problem…
When I sent my application to gatech, i found out that i made a few grammatical mistakes in the college essay. Is it okay? The mistakes were nothing very serious( I used “they” while referring to a foundation, a comma splice at 3-4 places, 2-4 conjunction problems…) I am REALLY worried now, will this affect my chances in the school?
@Iwillsucceed1 No, I don’t think it’ll really do a whole lot, keep in mind they’re reading A LOT of essays, an error here and there is unlikely to be caught, much less sway them from admitting you.
Tell us how it goes!
