<p>When asking my principal to write a rec for me, I also asked about her English name. (We are an international school. English is not our first language.) Since it’s her first to time to write a rec on Commonapp, she asked me some questions about it today in her office. And that’s when I saw her sign a different name on the ED agreement sent to Dartmouth! </p>
<p>Her last name is Chang, but she told me it is “Cheng”. How should I deal with this situation? Should I send a letter to colleges to explain or ask my principal to explain? Or, it’s not a big deal at all? I am worried that the counselor rec and the ED agreement will be invalid…</p>
