My Sat Score Is Good?

everyone has such better SAT scores than me…
i got a 1940
800 math
790 writing
350 CR (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH)
i dont know what to do…i am so screwed
i guess its my own fault considereing ive gone my whole life and read about 10 book…w/e

any suggestions

can I go anywhere 4 college?

are you sure you didn’t just bubble in your CR wrong? 350 is ridiculously low, and somebody who can manage a 800 M and 790 CR seriously can’t be that incapable of scoring well on CR too.
Anyway, read Grubers and blue book…

no i am joking but my scores were ridculously low…just not like that
720 math
620 writing
600 reading
my CR score is sooooooo low and I cant seem to rise it…its ****ing me off
will a 1940 hinder my chances a t places like u pitt… maryland college park, george wash

ok, that is much more manageable. and not everybody has higher SAT scores than you… your score should probably be around 85 percentile overall (around there… there is a data set but I forgot where it is now), which isn’t horrible.
anyway, your math score… basically shows that you’re okay with math. a 720 means that you got about 4 questions wrong… so… the errors you’re making are probably mostly careless, at most one or two conceptual errors. if you find that you have any specific kind of problem (rate problems, geometry problems, annoying find-the-pattern-and-complete-it problems… etc), then do a zillion of those problems to study.
Then…
writing…
Maybe you can buy a review book and go over rules of grammar. They aren’t that bad, and even if you aren’t good at “writing” in general, you can memorize grammar rules like formulas if necessary. As for the essay, just write a REALLY LONG essay (fill up the 2 pages). it will affect your score, even if the quality of the writing is… the same… or worse… etc. the graders spend literally 2 min on your essay. They won’t notice/care, as long as you look like you have something to say.
Reading is prob going to be difficult to improve. memorize high-freq. vocab words, and remember when they ask you the question, any answer can be DIRECTLY supported by the text / passage you have just read.
practice with the blue book.
best of luck!

1940 isent that bad, is it?

hey listen buddy!! i got a 1400 on the sat.so what now!! If anyone needs help its me.

a 1400 on 2 sections or 3…if that was 3 wat is ur breaksown…how did u do that, did u bubble wrong…

Are you a URM? If so, that score won’t hurt you TOO much (provided that everything else is in order).

I 1940 isn’t bad at all. It is by CC standards, but this place is FAR from realistic…

Math and Writing, in my opinion are quick fixes.

CR is a bit more long-term. I suggest you to focus on this. Study the word list from Barron’s and do a lot of practice tests.
