my school doesnt have ap physics b..

At the school I go to we only have AP Physics C: Mechanics and E+M. Sadly, we have no course officially called ‘AP Physics B’. So here’s the question, I’m currently in Physics ‘GT’ (gifted/talented), which is basically Physics B cuz u have the option of taking the AP test at the end of the year, or just waiting until physics c to take that one. Anyways, I was wondering how colleges would perceive this course in relation to physics B AP. We cover the same material basically and prepare for the ap test, we just don’t officially call it Physics B AP. Would colleges look at this like an ap course? thanks for your help.

I don’t think they look at it as an AP Course but that’s not what matters. What matters is that you took the AP Exam.

Stick a note in your college App explaining what it is.

Lots of colleges don’t give credit for Physics B, but if your course prepares you well for the exam, it can only help you to take it.
