<p>I go to a newly built public school in TN. This is the first year we have seniors.
Our school allows you to retake tests to earn a better grade. This results in people with super inflated GPAs. Do colleges see that my school offers retakes? </p>
<p>The school is pretty competitive with most students earning 4’s or 5’s on the AP exams. Our school also scores the highest on district exams and we are in the best county of Tennessee. Saying this, I don’t think a college could see anything weird with the student’s high grades since we score really well in everything. The school is just filled with OCD perfectionists. But I am just afraid that this will hurt me in college admissions.</p>

<p>You can find out what your school shows them by asking your guidance counselor to show a copy of your transcript (or a sample transcript) and a copy of the school profile that they send to colleges with applicants’ transcripts and secondary school reports.</p>
<p>Sikorsky, this may be a stupid question, but what exactly are school profiles. I hear that they have statistics about schools, but what is actually on them. Can colleges see how many AP/honors classes a school offers on the profile?</p>
