Well I just got my scores back and I’m not to happy.
(CR/M/W)
First test: (630/720/780)
Second test: (640/770/720)
Third test: (660/690/710)

As you can see, my third test took shot for math and writing… Will this affect my chances of getting into college?

I’m Asian (I don’t know if this plays an effect) and here are some schools I’m looking at, please let me know if they’re possible with these scores:
Johns Hopkins
Cornell
University of Michigan
University of Chicago
Notre Dame
Duke University
… Thanks

Being Asian does play a role, and to me it almost seems the opposite of affirmative action. Basically if you are white or asian, you are at a disadvantage. Muahaha, luckily I am hispanic! However, that shouldn’t deter you and I find that your total score of 2130 is competitive. All of your colleges are matches except for U of C and Duke, those take on more of being a low reach. However, don’t lose hope! There is so many factors that go into your application! There isn’t much you can do now to change your score but I would start working on your essay, your extra-curriculars, developing your leadership roles, and doing community service. You are a competitive applicant! You should be proud :)

All those colleges superscore so all they see is a 2210… As for being Asian, Asians are known for being school school school so if u have a 3.8-4.0 UW with some non-sports ECs you should be fine with Notre Dame, Duke, and Cornell, as for the rest they are extremely holistic in their approaches so it all depende on how confident you are in the rest of your attributes

Your super score is good but I would take it one more time and really focus on studying CR as it is your only bad section. The critical reader is supposed to be good.
