<p>get that SAT up to about a 2100+ and you could get in if you apply early.</p>

<p>If your SAT gets above a 1920 then you have a very good chance of getting in. Once again you are an URM so I think your chances are even better than you realize. Your GPA is very good. I’d say you are a match. I believe Alexandre once said that standardized test scores make up a small percentage of the admissions decisions. It’s GPA, Course load and rank that really matter.</p>

<p>^ Michigan got rid of affirmative action. However, you can definitely talk about being a minority in your essays.</p>

<p>I would say that if you take the ACT and get 30+ or SAT 2000+, you have a pretty strong chance at admission. You have stellar ECs and a strong gpa.</p>

<p>Michigan did get rid of affirmative action, but they can still use race as an admissions factor. At least thats what i read on the U-M site. </p>

<p>But yes, UM did get rid of affirmative action.</p>

<p>They technically got rid of it, but trust me it is still very much used.</p>

<p>Hey, I was recently accepted OOS and my statistics were about the same as yours except I’m caucasian, I originally got an 1860 on the SAT, second time around I got a 1910, so you probably will have no problem, though it is true that it is much more difficult to get accepted OOS, but no worries. good luck!</p>
