<p>Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by!! :D</p>
<p>This fall (fall 2014) would be my third year in college. I am studying Pasadena City College (Community College) in California. And i am hoping to transfer to UCLA.</p>
<p>PCC is one of the top-ten cc in CA. It has higher transfer rate and that’s the reason i chose PCC at the first place.
I am current having a GPA of about 3.60
I have planned out the classes i am gonna take this fall. If i ace all of them i think i will have a GPA of about 3.68
But i have had 3 Ws… X(</p>
<p>I want to study Mechanical Engineering/ Aerospace engineering
How big is my shot to UCLA? :)</p>
<p>Also, my friend from East Los Angeles College is gonna study the same major… But ELAC is kinda an easy-A college. She had gotten a B in English class and a B in Physics1(Mechanics) class.
Does she still stand a chance to go to UCLA?
i guess her GPA is around 3.8</p>
<p>From what i heard, it’s getting harder to get in UCLA and UCSD
For example, last year, students could still tag UCSD, but starting from this fall, UCLA has stopped the tag program with all cc…
Also, i have heard about races issues… they said UCs have higher requirements for Chinese/ Asian … For example, it might take a Black/White a GPA of 3.3 to get in UCLA, but it might take an Asian 3.7 to get in
Is this true? </p>
<p>Any thoughts ? :)</p>
