My SSAT Scores

Are these scores good?
The schools I’m applying to are St.George’s, Deerfield, Hotchkiss, Taft, Lawrenceville, and Exeter

Upper Level Score Range : 500-800

Verbal Score 707
(Personal Score Range: 686 - 728, SSAT Percentile 76%)

Math Score 734
(Personal Score Range: 713 - 755, SSAT Percentile 72%)

Reading Score 794
(Personal Score Range: 773 - 800, SSAT Percentile 99%)

Total Score 2235
(Personal Score Range: NA, SSAT Percentile 94%)

If the admissions officers just look at the overall, I think that your scores put you in average/above average for all of those schools. If they look at all three individual, I think that they would definitely be impressed with the reading, but a <80% may raise some eyebrows.

SSAT scores are not meet-all end-all (or however the phrase goes). They are a standardized test, no more than a small factor in the many in an applications. If your grades, EC’s, and everything else is in line, you have a good shot nevertheless. Best of luck!
