I’m rather bored in class and saw someone post one of these, maybe it will help someone or something :slight_smile: I’ve always found these interesting so I hope you do too!

Intended Major: Biology/Biochem, pre-med
GPA: 3.9/4.6
ACT: 36
No school rank, Took 5 AP tests and got 5s on them

Coursework: Mostly honors and APs, Diff. Eq. In senior year

Awards: Won a state poetry contest, national merit finalist, state honor scholar, state theatre contest nominee x2, presidential service award, US National Chemistry Olympiad National Finalist

Extracurriculars:
Theatre (leadership position), sign language club (president), part time job at starbucks (senior year only), research internship at my state med school, volunteer club exec board, scouts, orchestra

Essays/LORs: I would say that my essays were like 6-7/10 depending on the school, I’m not the best writer. I think my recommendations were strong though!

Schools/Decisions:
Drexel - Accepted, honors
Fordham - Accepted, full tuition scholarship
Northeastern - accepted (crappy fin aid though)
Temple - accepted, full tuition scholarship
UIC - accepted
Rutgers - accepted
UChicago - rejected
UMichigan - deferred
Emory - waitlisted
Tulane - deferred
UCSD - accepted
UCI - accepted w/honors
Boston University
UPenn
Johns Hopkins - rejected
USC - ACCEPTED WITH MERIT!

WashU - rejected
NYU
GWU
UWash - accepted, honors
UIUC - accepted
Case Western
Loyola Chicago - accepted

Really praying for the rest of my schools but expecting rejections lol

To make it easier to read…

Have different groups:
REJECTED
public universities
private universities
ACCEPTED
public universities
private universities

and include net cost next to each
*net cost = (tuition fees room board) - (scholarships grants)

BU - Accepted w/merit, not enough merit though LOL
UPenn - ACCEPTED WITH MAJOR’S HONORS PROGRAM!
columbia- rejected
NYU- accepted
GWU- accepted
case western - waitlisted
umich - accepted
tulane - waitlisted
Currently deciding between USC and UPenn!

Thanks, I’d love to know who gets in, my daughter’s friend just got into Cornell but not honors at Rutgers.
