The 1:16 time is for the people whose decisions were made a while ago.

The 5:35 time is for the people whose decisions came down to the wire.

Plausible?

Plausible?

Better than any other theory.

Could also be an evil plot by Duke University to make us exhaust or minds trying to decipher the mystery of a meaningless puzzle.

Could be a good or bad thing for most people. However, I had a 1:16 time, and I’ve sent various supplemental material in over the past few months with positive receipt (i.e., they added it) from my admissions officer. So not sure if this theory holds much water either. We will know in less than 24 hours though. :)

your theory sucks. However, other theories suck too.

I think that it is the least crackpot of all the crackpot theories.

a simplified version of my theory…yea…

To screw with your theory- i got a likely and I’m a 5:35.
Have fun with that… :P

Lol, a mute point?

^ isn’t it a “moot” point? lol… just throwing that out there :P

Yes, they are all moot points in less than 19 hours!
Good luck all.

No. It isn’t a “moot” point - the point actually cannot speak, so it is mute ;).

Lol, I was just mocking the person who originally posted “mute point” but apparently he/she deleted the post, haha.

I bet it’s order. Maybe they tried at 1:16:00 and mid way system crashed and they got it working later.

proace, what do you mean by ‘order’? What sort of order? We know it’s not alphabetical, so do you mean order of decision made?

I’m not sure, I’d think alphabetical.

^ I don’t think so. My last name starts with an “S” and I had 1.16 PM

^I don’t think alphabetical. And this is the most ridiculous discussion on CC - I would imagine someone from Duke smirking at the thread.
