I’m dying now. I tried hard, but I think my brain is a smoothbrain and my expectation was so high. I…I don’t want to study anymore

You can only go to one college and you got into UMinnesota which is a fine school. If UMinnesota is affordable then you should be excited to attend.

If you are truly suicidal seek help IMMEDIATELY (it is not something you should say lightly or jokingly IMO).

@happy1 Thank you…I don’t know what my feeling is right now. I do not know UC’s decision, but probably it will be worse…Does Minnesota have a good math undergraduate program? I will definitely study hard if I have a chance to go to grad school!

UMinnesota is a well regarded school. You should look at the school’s website and online course catalog to get a better sense of the course offerings and professors in the math department.

Uminn is a very good school , a little cold in the winter but it is a top school.

@happy1 @NJdad07090 I don’t know UC decision yet, but if I failed to go to the UCs, than I will go to the Uminnesota!! Thank you!

University of Minnesota is an excellent school by any standard. So you’re already doing pretty well, even if you have no other acceptances.

agree with the above- Minnesota is a greatschool and very underrated, in a great urban environment. it’s cold but you can be very happy there and go places.

@MWolf @joecollege44 Now, my concern is a tuition fee. I think UCB and UCLA are good schools, but they charge me $43000+living cost. I doubt that it is worthy to spend for an undergraduate math program. In that sense, I think Minnesota is quite suitable for me. Thank you.

I agree with others that U.Minnesota is a good university. It is definitely very much worth attending.

I have had a few trips to Minneapolis, and have enjoyed every trip there. You will need a good warm winter coat and boots, all of which will be available in Minneapolis. I think that you will do well there.

You had quite a few reaches on your list. However, having one very good acceptance is all that you need.
