My weird ACT/SAT Combination

I took the SAT earlier this month and got:
1830 - Composite
580 - Writing
580 - Reading
670 - Math

My Best Single ACT is as follows:
26 - Composite
31 - English
23 - Math
24 - Reading
25 - Science

ACT Superscore:
31 - English
24 - Math
26 - Reading
25 - Science

My question is this: Why do you think this is happening? If I do well on the ACT English and well on the SAT Math why is it that I cannot the two of these things together?!

I really really want to get in to Colby & Williams…

I’m not sure about the math but remember the ACT doesn’t penalize you if you answer a question wrong and the SAT does. Is it possible you are guessing(incorrectly) on some of the SAT reading questions? Also remember the tests are different and so some people do better on one or the other.

unless you have a HUGE hook, your scores are just too low for Williams. And you are in the bottom quartile of Colby’s matriculated Frosh.

Definitely apply, but also find some safeties.

you did good i got 28 on my act try to try again maybe tho
