Hi i have been having discussions recently with my mom and other people on this site and i was just wondering what are my chances of getting into these schools with my background in high school…btw since UMD is my top choice…many people have put me down…:
University of Maryland
Towson
Salisbury
George Mason
University of Jacksonville
Boston U

I just finished my junior year of high school and i got a 3.28 GPA. I am in the International Bac. program and my weighted GPA is a 4.0. I have done sports since i was a freshman and i am in four clubs one of which i was recommended to be in. I am a mixed race both of which are minorities. Since i am not a very good test take i did really bad on my SATs and im focusing more on my ACTs ( i am studying for that)…what are my chances of getting into these schools. Please Please Please let me know what you guys think because im starting to get worried if i will get accepted or not.

P.S the International Bac. program is a program that is college level course work and is weighted on a 6.0 scale, but most colleges want it to be on a 5.0 scale. It is the hardest amount of course work out there…trust me i had many sleepless nights writing essays…extended essay for our rough draft…had to be 14 pages…i really worked my butt off junior year.
