N.Y.U. Abu Dhabi?

The comments regarding this article were mostly negative, except for the few made by future '14 of NYU Abu Dhabi.

I thought it a lively and interesting debate.
As NYU students and hopefuls any thoughts?

There's a gigantic thread on the same page, about AD, just a few threads down.

I'm glad that somebody is paying attention to the comments in the New York Time's article. Many people raised questions, that, so far, nobody from NYU has addressed. There have been many articles lately which are all laid out similarly: NYU is starting a program in Abu Dhabi. It's wonderful because NYU says that is wonderful. The students are the brightest ever who are attending it, and the proof is NYU and the students say so. And then there's the pitch as though this is the most innovative, enlightening event in academic history, and if anybody dares to point out the various human rights violations in Abu Dhabi, they are to be personally attacked.
