I haven’t seen this year’s link posted yet. It always amazes me what schools still have openings. Look for yourself, but ones that jump out for me as of 4/28:
Drexel, Goucher, Hendrix, Hofstra, Juniata, Kettering, Rose-Hulman, Whitman, Willamette
My annual plug to say that many more four year schools (hundreds/maybe 1,000+) not on this list are also still taking apps. If you are interested in a school that you don’t see on the list, contact them and ask if they still taking apps.
Interesting that Minerva is on that list after touting their 3% acceptance rate.
Lots of solid schools still have openings.
Whitman College in Washington state, Willamette in Oregon, NJIT, FIU, U Oklahoma & Oklahoma State U.
List includes 92 colleges and universities throughout the USA.
As of 5/6/2026 there are 197 colleges in the U.S. on the list.
Below are a number of names sorted by the size of the school that I’ve heard good things about, and/or that surprised me, and/or that are CTCL schools (often recommended on CC). CTCL schools have their profiles linked.

I’ll second @Mwfan1921’s suggestion of reaching out to a school of interest to see if spots and financial aid remain available, regardless of their inclusion on any list of schools that still have openings.
And off-topic, but I really dislike when schools add “The” as part of their official names.
