What was this IVY girl thinking? Dancing naked online video and 3L…hmmm.

I don’t see any ethical problem with this. What rule or law is she violating? How is she harming anyone?

I think most discussions are about how the ethics review will consider this.

She’s not that good looking and I don’t see any respectable firm wanting to hire someone who has done porn, how could you be expected to be taken seriously?

I don’t think that the character committee is likely to hold it against her. She has a right to put naked pictures of herself on the internet and the country (at least the “blue state” areas) has become pretty tolerant of female nudity. Maybe she’d have a problem if she wanted to practice in Tulsa. But in New York City? I doubt it will be a problem.

“I already have a job lined up. I’m hoping my employer doesn’t find out. I’m quite embarrassed by all this. I wish it didn’t happen.”

Slightly odd thing to hear from someone giving an interview to the Daily News, complete with full name.

I disagree skinner, women have it hard as it is and she just made it damn near impossible for any respectable firm to hire her.

I personally would choose not hire her(even though I can’t) because she seems like an idiot going around school telling everyone about it then acting surprised when it ends up blowing up. I also have very little respect for someone that would do pornography and can’t see myself taking anyone that would do that seriously as an attorney.

There is a difference between getting admitted to the practice of law and getting a job. My comments were addressed solely to the first issue.

Ah, I see, I agree with you then.

“She’s not that good looking and I don’t see any respectable firm wanting to hire someone who has done porn, how could you be expected to be taken seriously?”

So it would be ok if she was better looking?? lol

Note that she’s also a 3L interning at Legal Aid. Not that it was necessarily an awesome choice either way, but she’s probably not going after corporate law, where (speaking only very generally) I imagine image might play a larger role.

Sweetny007, I was mainly mentioning her average looks because the article made it out like she was drop dead gorgeous or something which is definitely not true. Either way she got what she deserved.

I don’t see how she “got what she deserved.” For one thing, I’m not clear what she’s “gotten” except a lot of unwanted publicity and obnoxious criticism.

which she deserves.
