Name on CollegeBoard not my legal name

I signed up on CollegeBoard with my perfered name not my legal name. I have already taken a subject test this saturday and some ap exams this week. Will changing my name on my collegeboard account to my legal name have any effect on the tests ive already taken?

I would give them a call, just in case. Is your screen name future wolf packer? If so, niceee!!! :D

never mind then. i was just connecting the letters. what does it stand for?

haha ftw= for the win, pker=play killer lol came from rs =P

Haha, nice. :)

But to answer your question, either ask your counselor or give them a call. The call shouldn’t take but a few minutes.

It isn’t as easy as a phone call. For some reason, it only took the first letter of my last name, so I was Michael E for all of my tests. I called up CollegeBoard over the summer and requested for my name to be changed. I had to fax over my birth certificate and another form of ID along with the request for my name change.

It all worked out in the end, but it took a bit. :)

There were absolutely no problems regarding previous tests that I have taken. If you used your legal name on the test itself, you might face some problems (unless you put in your SSN, then it will be a bit easier). I took all of my tests under Michael E and then changed my name after all of the tests were done.
