Names of Courses

When people look at your transcripts, they obviously see a list of courses. Each university is gonna have a distinct name for a course. Are these names usually intuitive?

For example, I think most fluid mechanics courses actually have the name “fluid mechanics” somewhere in the course name. At my university they call the course “mechanics and thermodynamics of flow processes” or something like that. Does that name easily imply it’s a fluid mechanics to you guys?

Sounds like fluids to me. They’re just using fancier words for it.
