I’m a high school sophomore interested in both conceptual science (“soft science”) and hard sciences, like physics and chemistry. Peripherally, I’m looking at colleges, and am starting to consider possible careers. I would hope to go into neuroscience eventually, but I’d like to expose myself to some hard sciences as well. With this in mind, do you feel it would be feasible to major in nanotechnology or biotechnology in undergraduate school, and go to grad school for neuroscience? And, if so, what benefits would this experience yield?
Thanks.
