Narrowing down schools

I’m a CC student starting my transfer apps (finally!) for next fall, but I’m having trouble narrowing down my list of schools to apply to. I currently have a 3.8 GPA, and can use parliamentary debate, volunteering for environmental organizations, and staffing for a campus magazine as ECs. UC Berkeley and Loyola Marymount are definitely on the list, and I’m trying to limit the total number of schools I’m applying to to 5. I’m majoring in IR/PoliSci - except for Cal, where I’d be a Peace and Conflict Studies major. Columbia, George Washington, Georgetown, Northwestern, and Tufts are the other schools I’m trying to decide between. I’ve eliminated a lot of other schools based on major/debate programs and location, so I suppose now it’s just down to how well I would personally fit in to each school. Is there a better way to narrow down my list, since I can’t go visit campuses before applications are due?
