NASA's Orion Spaceship

Orion spaceship launched from Cape Canaveral flew over my Florida home this morning doing about 20,000 miles/hr…saw it passing over and it was quite a sight and I’d bet most of Florida peninsula could see the spacecraft overhead in the clear sky this morning. It is good seeing NASA cranking up some with this Orion project that is designed to fly to Mars. America should keep its space program active and going places…it’s a big universe.

Scrapped yesterday b/c of winds and some clowns got their boats too close to the launchpad? Sheesh.

I wouldn’t want to be standing too close to the launch pad for this rocket when it blasts off…it’s a huge sucker and would suck up all the oxygen by pad for a good distance at blast off.

Perhaps I wasnt clear. Meant that the boater apparently didnt follow rules (hopefully they knew that the waters were restricted yesterday) and it cost lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$ to have to postpone, and ultimately scrap the launch.

Yeah, people can be idiots. Terrorists would love popping down the rocket with a shoulder bazooka…can’t be too careful. Kinda like idiots trying to get to Cuba from Florida on a jet ski and they run out of gas and US Coast Guard spends $100,000 rescuing them. Send 'em a bill for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

My niece took her two young boys out of school yesterday to go to KSC to watch the launch. They were obviously disappointed that the launch was scrubbed but has a good time spending the day at the Center anyway.
