96% humidity?!

jeez.

The weather is better than New York weather (more sunny days). The winters are relatively mild (it only snows around 2x a year).

Almost without fail, move-in day will be one of the hottest of the year, if not THE hottest (as it was with D’s freshman move-in). Luckily upperclassmen volunteer to serve on the Move Crew to make this less miserable. I’m sure it comes as quite a shock to those accustomed to more moderate temperatures.

Im from phoenix, AZ… so I will be leaving 100+ degree weather… but I am not used to the humidity

You are right to think the humidity will take some getting used to. Frankly, I think 100 in Arizona is easier to take than 80 in a humid climate.

However, I think Nashville’s weather during the school year is actually relatively mild, and certainly the winter temps are easier to take than Chicago or much of the northeast.

Now, I’m betting the summers can get pretty sticky and hot.

The summers are VERY hot in Nashville. Luckilly, schools out when it starts getting bad.

It was 101 degrees I believe on my S’s move in day!

humidity isn’t that bad…nevermind it SUCKS. You just learn to live with it.
