Nashvillle dog friendly restaurants

My husband has a meeting in Nashville on Monday and the dog and I have decided to join him for the ride tomorrow. We will be staying near Vanderbilt, but have a car and don’t mind driving somewhere to eat. As the weather will be nice, we figured we would find places that have outside seating and allow dogs on leash. This is not a purse dog, rather a 55 lb. dog.

I know most of the Mellow Mushrooms have patio seating and allow dogs, but would love something native to Nashville. BBQ would be great; that said, our first priority is eating with the dog. This is what happens when you become empty nesters; the dog is your first priority ;)

Any suggestions for dinner on Sunday and lunch on Monday would be appreciated.

snowball, if no one replies, you might want to send MomOfWildChild a PM.

Bet it is a black lab.

No, she is a Goldendoodle; my husbands favorite child!! I wanted to leave her with the woman that boards for us, but my husband thought it would be fun to take her. She has only been to a hotel once before and was a bit antsy; hoping this stay is better for her. I don’t want to leave her in the hotel room alone as I am afraid she might bark and disturb others. At home she barks when people walk by our house and I know she barked a couple of times at her last hotel stay, so I am leery of leaving her unattended.

I did PM MomOfWildChild as I thought she lived in Nashville.

snowball… she does, but she is currently in PA taking care of some family business, so I don’t know when she will have internet access.

I love to eat at Burger Up on 12 South. Homemade buns and natural/organic meats. Love the fried pickles. They have an outdoor patio area, so it might be worth calling them to see about their policy.

I ALWAYS have Internet access! I responded to Snowball. I want to see the Goldendoodle! I get back Monday night.

Hog Heaven behind the McDonald’s near the Parthenon is really good … it’s a take out window, and you could go over to eat in the park.

Taco Mamacita’s in the Edgehill Village area has a great outdoor eating area.

See if they have an Egg Harbor. I just took my spaniel and ate lunch with a friend on their patio. I felt very European. And they have a doggy menu with some of the proceeds going towards an animal shelter.
