National AP Scholar

is it any good? I took 2 ap’s as sophomore and am attempting 5 this year as a junior. i’d figure if i’m just one off from this award, might as well self study one. Which one would be the easiest to self study? (already taking apes currently)

psycho. i heard its the easiest. i too am going for the NAPS award and becoming the first in my school to do it.

human geography

comparative government.

us gov’t is pretty ridiculous…just get Pr…read it the night before, and get a 5…seriously.

if youre asian you should take chinese or japanese cuz those tests are hysterically easy :O.

ive read around the AP forum a lot.
pyschology, human geo, comparative gov come up often as very easy to self study. refer to the AP prep book thread to decide which book to get.

I got AP National scholar… I regret self studying. I regret taking so many APs. I hated my life.

Does anyone know when National AP Scholar’s are annoinced? Do they issue a certificate?

I believe that the award itself doesn’t matter. It’s the fact you took so many APs and did so well on them that counts.

Comp Gov is really interesting and easy to self study. Buy Ethel Woods study guide and read it twice for a 5.

environmental science is another one. Either PR or smartypants will get you a 5

If you like World Politics (like me): Comparative Govt, Human Geo
If you like Science: Enviromental Sci
If you like a more Social Science: Psychology
If you have a strong background in USH: US Govt

For other info, I think oasis posted once about Self-Studying APs to improve your app, just search it on this forum

Comp. Govt.: Ethel Woods
US Govt.: PR (you’ll need an important Sup. Court cases list to supplement this, though, since it is short on court cases)

ya im in environmental science already. i guess psychology would be the easiest then, but is it super easy to get a 5?
