Late to Dunkin meant no coconut or peanut! Strawberry glazed with sprinkles.
Also added a new puppy to our family this am - that more than makes up for no coconut!

@sabaray The sushi family has a new pup too! Only the best for her. No donuts.
Congrats on the new puppy @sabaray family and @sushiritto fam!
This will make you do it lovers chuckle. A good friend had a bear who tried to enter her how. Our state Dept of Environmental Protection set a bear trap in her back yard to catch the bear. Guess what the bait was??
Donuts!
They had them in my office today, but I am working from home. So I missed them. ?
I tried to go to Krispy Kreme after work. The line of cars was ridiculous at 4:15. What a crazy day!
Annoying. The cider mill was closed/off-season. My brother didn’t read the fine print below the hours listing. We drove over to Cranbrook instead, so I was spared the bad fuel (@sushiritto is right about that).
I have a funny donut story. When DS was barely verbal, we went out for a stroll to a local park, and I stopped in at the nearby Dunkin’ Donuts for an iced coffee. When we got to the counter, he started flailing arms and legs and shouting, “Ball! Ball! Ball!” I reached into the stroller bag to give him a ball which he threw away and continued the crazy behavior. The young woman behind the counter said, “Oh, he wants a Munchkin.” To which I replied, “No, he doesn’t know what those are. We don’t feed him sugar. I’m still breast-feeding and making his food.” She kinda hesitated and educated me with, “Well, your husband gets him a Munchkin every time he comes in.”
DH was busted by a kid who couldn’t even talk yet. I won’t share the follow-on story of my conversation with DH.
I am lucky enough to work in NYC for NDD.
Got off my train, walked upstairs to Krispy Kreme, selected any donut I liked absolutely free of charge. Elapsed time: four minutes.
As close it gets to free lunch, but I had to buy a second one just because.
Yet, look at him now! West Point grad and super smart to boot. I guess that “bad fuel” at an early age didn’t hurt him that much.
I mourn what he might have accomplished without it. ?
