Still nothing in Massachusetts

Nothing here in Ft Worth TX

Nothing here in Atlanta, GA either. I’m wondering why it’s taking so long…

UCM sent a nice mail and then the certificate came in the mail Saturday. Very excited and framed with PSAT score.

My daughter just received hers in the mail last night, in Colorado. FYI, if anyone is still waiting, my daughter emailed them a couple of days ago, and they emailed her back telling her Congratulations! & that the letter was on the way. So if you’re still biting your nails, you might want to email them. By the way, she pulled a mean joke on me yesterday morning, “Well, they emailed me back, Mom. I’m not a scholar.” I about had a heart attack until she said, “Just kidding!”

University of Arizona gives whatever you would have earned with their Arizona Tuition Award (up to $35K, automatic merit based on your GPA and stats) +$5000/year on top of that, +$1,500 for study abroad. If also going into Engineering, the Engineering College automatically gives NHRP additional $1,000/year. (Some other colleges within the school might do something similar?) You are also automatically in their Honors College if you want to be.

University of Kentucky gives full tuition, plus $10K/year for the first 2 years.

@CCinDenver Minor correction: University of Kentucky gives full tuition, plus $10K/year for only the first 1 year as of this year (but it was for the first 2 years as recently as last year)

@NJEngineerDad thanks for the info, but total bummer about UKY only doing the $10k for 1 year! I didn’t realize that had changed. We are going to visit this weekend. But I guess it’s still a good deal. Thanks for the links.

Anyone received their certificate in NY?

Finally received certificate in Florida on Tuesday, October 1

I did call College Board last week to make sure there was not an issue and they did say if you dont receive your expected certificate in the next week you should email them. They will only re-send certificates for a month after that if yours got lost in the mail and you dont follow up and request it, they will not reissue you one.

I ended up calling yesterday and they confirmed my daughters status and congratulated her. The woman said they were sent out on the 16th and the certificate might have gotten lost. I had to submit an email for another certificate but they said it might take 4-6 weeks.

Just received my son’s yesterday in Maryland. @Tigerkat did you get your certificate?

My daughter received her certificate today in Atlanta, GA.

@jdhMom Thank you, I did receive my certificate. Feeling much better!

University of Nebraska-Lincoln

How helpful is the certificate with college admissions? I know some will give additional merit. Has anyone experienced or know of a boost to admissions? Other than the Penn State email, I haven’t seen any mention of it from other colleges or universities.
