National Honor Roll

i just got admitted into the national honor roll, and it says in the letter that if i pay 7.50 i can get the news of my admittance sent to colleges. is the natl honor roll even a prestigious award? is it important? how do colleges look at it? also, how about the who’s who award?

Sorry, but National Honor Roll is not prestigious. The “invitations” are actually mass mailing, so there is no selectivity. Who’s Who is the same. Save your money.

ne other opinons from nebody?

what about United States Achievement Academy??? im pretty sure thats the same but idk…any one know?

Same thing for USAA. Ameer, if you do a search on this site for National Honor Roll, you’ll see more discussion. This comes up quite often.

My son attends a large public school in NY, guidance c. from several different colleges at financial aid night said to go for who’s who if recommended, there is no $$$ to submit profile, only if you buy the book. They also give away a scholarship to those who submit…anyone know a student who is actually in it and can respond?
