National Ice Cream Day - did you indulge???

Sounds refreshing. How was it?

It was creamy and delicious! I also had tried a taste of La vie en Rose but the flavor wasn’t as strong so I went with lavender.

Next time, chocolate amaretto cheesecake or spicy Mexican cocoa.

No thanks. Honestly, I don’t get why everyone loves ice cream. It’s ok, but doesn’t hold a candle to cookies, cake, or brownies. Just my opinion though!

Well, when it is national cookie, cake or brownie thread you can post a thread and then others will share in YOUR excitement!

(if you don’t like ice cream probably not expecting you to post on a celebratory ice cream thread…)

But stay tuned - and mark your calendar!

@abasket, you’ll have to remind us before those days come up
Why are they all during the holiday season I wonder, when we have so many opportunities to be bad already?

Me too on peppermint stick!!! My favorite growing up. Cannot find it anywhere now, except maybe at Xmas time. Just as well, don’t really eat ice cream.

Definitely a big National Cookie Day person. Although, unfortunately for my waistline, it’s National Cookie Day every day in my house:)

@coralbrook - if your local markets carry McConnells brand ice cream they have a great peppermint stick ice cream.

Omg, mom60, McConnell’s ships. Their flavors look wonderful. Mine’s from a Boston co, Brigham’s. (I see now that it’s available all year, so it must just be my market that limits it.)
