National Latin Exam vs. Latin SAT2

Is there any correlation between the National Latin Exam and the Latin subject test? My son did very well on the NLE but is concerned about taking the SAT2. Thoughts?

I also have taken the NLE and SAT II, and I found the NLE much harder than the Sat II, namely because the NLE asks one to recall specific mythology (which is not on the SAT II nor is any Roman history). There is a weak correlation between the NLE and Sat II. The Sat II asks questions pertaining to grammar (30%) such as derivations of words, fill-in-the-blanks, analysis of a word in a particular sentence and questions on 4 passages of prose and poetry (70%). Depending on the level of the NLE he has taken, the NLE Latin IV asks questions pertaining to grammar (approx. 50%), ONE passage (30%), and miscellaneous items (20%) of derivations of English words/mythology/Roman Life.
