Thank you @CA1543 for catching that so quickly! My D is in TX with 223. Happy dance here! Now the question is to tell her, or let her find out at school from the GC or principal? I don’t know how long her school waits to notify the kids.

Are there multiple people confirming Texas cutoff of 221
@crazydad 221 is not necessarily the cutoff. The cutoff is 221 or lower.

@crazydad As has been explained to you, there has been ONE report indicating that a 221 qualified in Texas. Keeping in mind that there is no way for any us to determine if that is accurate, let’s give that post the benefit of the doubt and assume it’s true. All that means is that anyone with a 221 or higher is safe. It DOES NOT establish the actual cutoff at 221. A 220, a 219, a 218 MAY turn out to be safe as well. WE DON’T KNOW YET!!!

Yeah for a >=221 in TX. My D got a 221 in TX. Here’s hoping the one “C” she got in Junior AP English doesn’t knock her out of finalist running. I think I will wait to see a few more confirmation before giving her the good news. Thanks to all the regular posters, I’ve been reading this string for months and quite like this crazy group of loving parents

sorry but letter to school on Saturday seems unlikely unless she is a homeschooler.
