<p>Does anyone know how long we get to fill this out? I’m planning on going to Austin City Limits Music Festival on Sept. 15-17 so I will also be out of town the 14th and 18th for travel. I might be wrong but don’t they usually give them out around this time? Is there much involved with the application and how strict is the deadline? Any dates / deadlines from last year would be greatly appreciated. I’d hate to miss ACL.</p>
<p>Don’t worry; you will have time to do it. It is a fairly involved application, but they allow plenty of time. (can’t remember exact dates, as it was a while back)</p>

<p>I think it’s about a month from the time you find out until the app is due. Don’t forget to send them your SAT scores.</p>
<p>Application is easy and doesn’t count for much of anything. If you have SAT scores 2000+, PSAT scores above cutoff, good grades (0-2 C’s, no Ds), recommendation of the principal or administrator (no major discipline events, etc.), a short essay -can be bland as vanilla ice cream - you are a shoe-in. Very few kids get knocked out between SF and finalist. Relax and enjoy ACLF. :0</p>
