this past year for NMF they typically were offered another school scholarship for $xxxxx but then once they declared Northeastern as their #1 the full NMF sholarship replaced the original scholarship. My son was National Hispanic Scholar and the full tuition scholarship was offered when he received his acceptance in December.

If you are already accepted - then once you officially declare Northeastern on your NMF they automatically give you full tuition and entrance to Honors Program

From what I’m reading on their website, most Northeastern students get their degree in five years rather than four. Would the full-tuition scholarship cover five years or only four?

I wasn’t an NMF but I am a University Scholar and will be attending NEU in the fall, on a full tuition scholarship. The scholarship applies to 8 semesters, and whether you do four years or five, you will complete 8 semesters of coursework, and you will be on co-op at other times(generally, 4 years do 1 or two co-ops, and 5 years do 3.)
